With over 60 years of combined experience, our team works hand-in-hand with partners from vision to market—developing products, building teams, and creating ventures with lasting competitive advantages.     Julian Dean Morais

    Julian Dean is a seasoned technology executive and strategic advisor with a remarkable history of driving digital innovation and delivering measurable commercial impact across several of the world’s top companies, including Apple, J.P. Morgan, Qualcomm, and PayPal. Julian has led and execute large-scale, multimillion-dollar initiatives across sectors, making him an asset to investors aiming to navigate today’s rapidly evolving technology landscape.

    With executive experience spanning Fortune 500 corporations and a special focus on Applied AI, Machine Learning, Data, and Product Management, Julian brings a uniquely comprehensive skill that merge technical depth with strategic foresight.

    In recent years, Julian has extended his expertise to support Venture Capital and Private Equity firms, Corporate Ventures, and Corporate Development teams, with their high-stakes investment strategies. By offering technical due diligence, sourcing emerging technology startups, and evaluating nascent technologies, he empowers investors to make informed, strategic decisions that are crucial for navigating the uncertainties of early-stage investments in technology firms. His experience in assessing scalability, product-market fit, tech sustainability and viability, and potential for long-term value creation, provides a critical advantage for investors seeking to capture value in the fast-growing tech space.

    Beyond his corporate leadership roles, Julian actively contributes to the tech community. As a member of the Forbes Technology Council and the Harvard Business Review Advisory Council, he provides insights on emerging technology trends, strategy, and innovation. He continues to serve as a business advisor with The King’s Trust charity in the UK, and Jumpstart UK, offering business advisory and product design guidance to the next generation of entrepreneurs and business leaders.

    Julian’s academic background includes an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

    Kevin Quincey

    Kevin Quincey is a senior executive with a proven track record of creating long-term value in complex enterprise operations and business management. He is best known for his successful turnaround of the NHS Wales infrastructure, which involved quickly taking their fractured and inefficient decentralized model straight to a world leading federated model and even 17 years later, NHS Wales is still used as an example by Microsoft and the larger NHS England (3rd largest employer in the world) of what is possible. His expertise in complex large scale operations was pivotal to this effort, and resulted in savings over £20 million per year (according to Microsoft) up to £200 million per year (according to NHS Wales).

    Kevin Quincey brings a combination of enterprise technology leadership, infrastructure maturity diligence, and entrepreneurship to the team. Kevin has extensive experience in building world leading support and technology organizations in financial services, manufacturing, and healthcare. He has turned around technology at Northwestern Mutual, M&I Trust, and A.O. Smith, and helped Deluxe Data Systems, Vodafone, Orange Networks, Carillion, Action for Children, and several other large Microsoft clients turn their IT returns on investment both measured and positive.

    As a growth and impact-driven strategist and corporate technology expert, Kevin has developed maturity and business capability models. He’s controlled diverse sources of expertise and funds, compliance requirements, heightened problem-solving, data analytics, and critical thinking skills which have enabled him to lead innovative processes and optimize high-performance teams with diverse positive work cultures for the successful delivery of efficiency and cost reduction.

    His education includes an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, an MSc in Information Security from Royal Holloway, University of London, and a BSc in Management Computer Systems from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater.

    Solomon ray

    Solomon Ray is an experienced management consultant, venture advisor, and technology expert with over 15 years of experience driving growth at the intersection of startups and enterprise innovation. Throughout his career, Solomon has played a pivotal role in shaping the trajectories of early-stage companies, advising global enterprises on digital transformation, and guiding over $100M in strategic investments and acquisitions. His expertise in startup sourcing, evaluation, and due diligence has ensured that these investments deliver both immediate impact and long-term value.

    Solomon has extensive experience working across a wide range of industries, including retail/consumer goods, finance, and high tech, where he has successfully aligned cutting-edge technologies with corporate strategy.  He has advised leading companies such as Chanel, Ulta Beauty, Adidas, HSBC, Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, Samsung, Intel, and Cisco.  By fostering collaboration between startups and global enterprises, Solomon has played a pivotal role in helping companies adopt transformative solutions in areas such as AI-driven automation, low-code platforms, and Generative AI applications.

    Additionally, Solomon is a recognized thought leader in technology innovation and strategy. He has authored numerous publications on AI, business strategy, and technology applications, including pieces in the Journal of AI, Robotics & Workplace Automation; ET Magazine; and Enterprise Management 360.  He has also served as a key speaker on the AI Solutions Panel Session at the "Designing Flexibility to Address Uncertainty in the Supply Chain with AI" event with industry leaders and academics at Loyola University Chicago.

    Early in his career, Solomon was deeply immersed in technology and R&D, starting as researcher at the UCLA Microlab and later at Xerox PARC. He would then work as an engineer in the semiconductor industry at Applied Materials. He also served in the Peace Corps in Togo with the Small Enterprise Development (SED) program advising entrepreneurs, trade associations, and NGOs. Solomon holds an MBA from Cornell University and a BS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering from UCLA.

    Dr. Wen-Pai Lu

    Dr. Wen-Pai Lu is a highly accomplished cybersecurity leader with over 20 years of experience in product management, professional services, solution development, and strategic business advisory. With deep expertise in cybersecurity, internet technologies, healthcare IT, and more, Dr. Lu has consistently delivered innovative solutions that address complex customer challenges. His unique ability to translate technical concepts into business value has earned him recognition as a trusted advisor to industry leaders and stakeholders.

    Currently, Dr. Lu serves as a Teaching Professor at Santa Clara University, where he educates graduate students in diverse cybersecurity domains. He partners with industry leaders and academic institutions to cultivate the next generation of cybersecurity professionals and collaborates with state governments to bridge the cybersecurity workforce gap.

    Dr. Lu previously held leadership roles at prominent technology and financial organizations, including J.P. Morgan Chase, Cisco, AT&T, Verizon Wireless, and several startups. He spearheaded product management initiatives that revolutionized user authentication, providing frictionless access to computing resources. His extensive cybersecurity expertise spans Identity and Access Management (IAM), mobile security, endpoint security, application security, and cloud security.

    In addition to his work in product development, Dr. Lu has led transformative business initiatives. Collaborating with executives and government officials, he developed strategic roadmaps to leverage networking technologies for corporate transformation and long-term growth. A key accomplishment includes establishing an innovation center for an Asian government, which maximized infrastructure investments, created jobs, and strengthened the local economy.

    Dr. Lu has made groundbreaking contributions to healthcare technology by leading the development of one of the first business-grade telemedicine solutions seamlessly integrated into clinician workflows. This innovation transformed remote doctor consultations, significantly improving healthcare access for underserved populations. Deployed across three continents, the solution showcased the vital role telemedicine would later play during the COVID-19 pandemic.

    With over a decade of experience in professional services, Wen-Pai has provided strategic and tactical consulting to hospitals, utilities, telecommunications providers, financial institutions, educational organizations, and government agencies. His work includes technology assessments, network architecture and design, and solution implementation. Leveraging his dual expertise in business and technology, he offers in-depth evaluations of emerging technologies and their business impacts, delivering actionable strategies to drive growth.

    A dynamic speaker and thought leader, Dr. Lu regularly moderates panels, organizes industry conferences, and delivers keynote addresses on emerging business and technology trends. He has also served as an executive in nonprofit organizations focused on wireless and security technologies.

    Dr. Lu holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Arizona. He holds a US. Patent for voice-based authentication method for mobile services. He earned several prestigious certifications, including CISSP and multiple SANS certifications, and has completed PMP training at George Washington University.
